Maestro Pasquet leads the «Zubin Mehta» chair of Conducting at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid, as well as the «International Chair» in Conducting with the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK.

INFORMATION
PARTICIPANTS
Student conductors and professionals. Up to 12 active participants will work directly with the orchestra in residence of ProMúsica Murcia, Myrtus Festival Orquesta.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Five sessions with full orchestra, focused on conducting technique and rehearsal management; approximately 120 minutes of class time and dress rehearsal.
A public concert in collaboration with the ProMúsica Murcia Association.
Individual guidance during the work in front of the orchestra, adapted to the needs of each participant.
An individual meeting devoted to each conductor’s personal and professional perspective.

CONCERT
The concert on Friday, 16th October will take place at the venue of the Masterclass and it will be in collaboration with ProMúsica Murcia Association.
At least three candidates will be assigned by Professor Pasquet to conduct the works in the public concert on Tuesday. Therefore, the session on Friday morning will have a double purpose: it will serve as a dress rehearsal for each participant assigned to the concert, and as a final recording session for the rest of participants.
Podium timing on Friday morning session might be different between participants.
We encourage all the participants to have the whole repertoire prepared and ready to be conducted in concert.
RECORDINGS
Each candidate might record their own lessons using the camera of the organization (Canon XA60), with their own SD-Card.
If you want a professional recording of the dress rehearsal you can also purchase it with the organization (price will be announced).
Concert will be professionally recorded.
TUTITION FEES
- Active participant: €1,950
- Auditor (listener): €300
- Application fee: €75 This may be paid by credit card via a STRIPE link.
- Selected participants: the list of active participants will be communicated by email on 1 September.
- Place reservation: €1,150, payable by 7 September 2026. Selected participants only.
- Remaining balance: €800, payable by 30 September 2026 or in cash on the first day of the course.
- Fees do not include travel or acccomodation expenses.
- Once paid, the place reservation fee will not be refunded to confirmed participants.
Changes and cancellations
In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, such as government restrictions, travel bans, or similar situations, the organisation may postpone or cancel the activity.
If the event is cancelled, all amounts paid will be fully refunded. The organisation will not assume any costs arising from travel, visas or accommodation.
Invoicing
An invoice will be issued in accordance with current regulations. The applicable tax treatment will be determined according to the legislation in force at the time of invoicing.
